Keyboard player and former career DJ newer to area would like to find a like minded guitarist and any other players who prefer jazzy, funky, groove style music to create a fun playlist and start playing out. Was last in a Real Book practice band in female pet rat. She must go as a pet. straight haired. She’s dumbo eared. Name is Spice. I'm looking to jam with like minded musicians for fun, and possible gigs if they are worthwhile. Going for 70's funk combined with 90's punk/funk/hip-hop. Think Tower of Power, James Brown, The Bamboos meets early Chili Peppers, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys - Check your Head era. This project can rock too, but really looking for upbeat funky players. My name is Ingrid and I am available to teach piano lessons immediately. I have 35 years experience playing the piano, having studied classical piano since the age of 3. I graduated with a B.A. in music from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, where I added jazz, blues and improvisation to my repertoire. I have been teaching piano for the past 15 years, and have 20+ years experience working with children in camp, children's museum and in-home settings. I teach beginning and intermediate piano, but also perform professionally in the latin american folk tradition, singing, playing piano and a variety of latin american folk instruments. In short, I'm familiar with a multitude of styles! I rely firmly on my classical foundation, however, which is what I pass on in my lessons. I teach technique, theory, sight-reading and performance repertoire appropriate to the student's level. We can also work with improvisation and beginning jazz, if the student is interested. Such a sweet girl, you wouldn’t know the hard life she has endured. Shuffled between Broward and Palm Beach animal control with her daughter Willow, who was then adopted leaving poor Jay utterly alone in a concrete cell. Pulled just in time from Animal Services by a rescue organization, just to be attacked by other dogs at the rescue facility, left poor Jay shaken and hopeless. I am not super into country, though a couple more rocking country songs here and there are OK. Interesting takes on pop could be fun. But, mainly I am interested in rock, hard rock and even metal. I am also a capable singer. I have audio and video samples available. NEEDING AND LOOKING FOR PROFESSIONAL KEYBOARDIST TO FILLIN ON UPCOMING SHOWS NEED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY AND REPRODUCE KEY, HORN AND SYNTH PARTS IN THE MUSIC THAT WE ARE PERFORMING.
