Description

The janitorial worker performs a combination of tasks to keep office buildings and related facilities clean and in orderly condition. • Dust surfaces as directed: furniture, desktops, file cabinets, pictures, ventilation, lights, and blinds, etc. • Spot clean doors, partitions, walls, windows, and all horizontal surfaces. • Restock paper supplies, replace liners, and empty trash to designated location. • Clean all floors: if carpeted, vacuum and if hard surfaces sweep and mop as specified in the contract. • Clean restroom: toilets, sinks, floors, urinals, mirrors, and fixtures using a toilet brush, sponge, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions. • Mix chemical solutions safely and efficiently. • Maintain custodial equipment.
