Sketchboard is an affordable community figure drawing meetup hosted in several venues in the city of San Francisco. Sketchboard Co. is an affordable community figure drawing meetup hosted in various venues in the city of San Francisco, offering uninstructed + unique experiences for all ages + disciplinary backgrounds.We aim to create a supportive, inclusive & body-positive space and feature models that represent a spectrum of age, gender, ethnicity, and body type. What to expect:Easels, tables, chairs, and some drawing boards and art supplies provided. Poses range from quick gestures to long poses. You can find our schedule here.No one turned away for lack of funds, but you must have proof of vaccination or be masked up in order to participate. If the payment is a barrier, promoting this to other groups or bringing friends along would be a huge help so we can pay models & musicians well. Absolutely NO photography or cell phone use during the session. Failure to comply will result in being booted from one or all sessions run by Sketchboard Co.We don't tolerate any kind of harassment from anyone; if someone is making you/anyone else feel uncomfortable, please let us know right away so we may remedy the situation.You can find the rest of our community guidelines here. All the money goes to the performers we hire for each session, so we rely on the attendance numbers to maintain our community going, a breakdown of these numbers for full transparency can be found here.
