Lost Border Collie in 2020

In November 2020 about a week before Thanksgiving I was arrested on some pending legal troubles while arrested I had my Border Collie in the car with me the Shreveport Police were very rude and would not let me contact anybody to come get her. She was taken to the Caddo Parish animal shelter. Within a few days I had family contact the animal shelter and make arrangements to drive all the way from North Arkansas and come pick her up. Her name is Dani. While my cousin was making arrangements to get the time off work to leave and drive all the way to Louisiana from North Arkansas to pick her up the animal shelter wrongfully let someone else adopt her. I understand whomever adopted her must love her and really wanted her because she also had heartworms and understand that whoever adopted her had to pay for that to be taken care of. While I was making arrangements to get the heartworms taken care of I was arrested before I had a chance. I would really really love my dog back I will pay whatever it takes to get her back whatever cost whatever it takes. She is very loving she's very gentle she loves to lick and lick and lick and lick. She is also very scared of thunderstorms she hates to go outside when it's raining she is highly intelligent and at times aloof. I would have made this post way sooner but I was recently just released from prison. I made some mistakes I paid for them and they are behind me and I would really very much like to have my dog back. She was a rescue that my best friend found at a lake scared and starved. I made that dog a promise to always be there for her take care of her and to never do her the way that she previously had been done and I mean to keep that promise. If you have any decency please give me my dog back. She also has a broken tooth and had a purple polka dot collar with her tags when she was taken to the animal shelter.
