We know you’ve always wanted to attend a “Derby Day” party and now is your chance! It’s our first ever Talk Derby to Me: A Derby Day Bar Crawl! Our Derby Day Bar Crawl has officially made its way to Scottsdale and it’s your turn to join us for FIVE FREE DRINKS, in your best derby attire, with your favorite people and your new best friends at Talk Derby to Me: A Derby Day Bar Crawl! Derby attire (massive hats, seersucker, wooden stick horses, etc.) is STRONGLY encouraged! Does a sombrero count? SURE! I mean it’s also just days after Cinco de Mayo, so go wild! Join us as we trot through Old Town Scottsdale in an old-school-style bar crawl! The Crawl starts at 2 pm at Giligin’s and includes FIVE FREE DRINKS and specials at each stop along the way! We’ll be at each bar for about an hour, so plenty of time for you to grab your free drink and even an extra one! The crawl kicks off officially at 2pm, with check-in starting at 1pm. Obviously, we’ll want to watch the race! The post time for the most exciting 2 minutes in sports is estimated for 3:45 pm, we’ll watch the race and then head to the next stop on the crawl! Nope! But you’d be a lot cooler if you did! Fun hats and linen are definitely recommend though! What is this? It’s a bar crawl! It's a Kentucky Derby Party! It's a reason to go out with your friends! What time does the event start? Check-in will begin at 1 pm with the event officially “kicking off” at 2 pm. We'll be leaving the Giligin's at 3 pm and moving to each new location on the hour.Before you ask, the official party ends at 7:00 pm but feel free to stay as long as you’d like.What do I wear? Do I have to wear anything? Wear whatever you like! In the spirit of the Kentucky Derby, we do recommend you have some fun with your "Derby Day" outfit! ALL of this walking is going to make me thirsty, will there be any drink specials? We know this short walk will leave you needing a nice cold, refreshing beverage. There will be specials at the bars along the way!Is there an age limit? Yes, this is a bar crawl so all participants must be 21 and older!!Nobody wants to hang out with a baby at a bar!Can I bring my baby/toddler/child along with me? Nope, sorry. This is for ADULTS (21+) only!Yes, even if they’re in a stroller. NO KIDDOS!!While we’re on the subject, you can’t bring your dog either.What do I need for check-in? Have your ID ready and head to the check-in tableCan my friends check-in for me? Absolutely! If you trust your friends to check-in for you, just text them a photo of your ID and we’ll let them do that! Do I have to register in advance? Well, it’s definitely the smartest way to register because it’s the cheapest! We will be allowing registration on-site for the crawl, if planning ahead is difficult for you. Day of registrations will be $40Do you have a refund policy? Registration is refundable up to two weeks prior to the event taking place (4/23). Unfortunately, the Eventbrite fees are non-refundable, but we will be sure to get our portion of the refund back to you.
