Kitchen sink backs-up/overflows - Landlord No Action

I live in the first floor of a 6 unit apartment building where the landlord deinstalled the garbage disposal, consequently, our kitchen sink backs-up and is subjected regularly to overflow of dirty soapy water when tenants above us wash their dishes and pots and pans. Our landlord thinks this is no big deal and so I am documenting the problem with photos and sending pictures of the overflow to her by mail as well as posting them here anonymously.It is difficult to talk to the landlord but this problem is a health issue for us. Any suggestions to fix the issue. I am reluctant to call a plumber as this is not my unit's problem only but affects the rest of. the tenants although possibly their sinks don't overflow as they are above us
