The empowHER Leadership Retreat was created to provide girls with the tools to find confidence, passion and purpose in their lives. The empowHER Leadership Retreat was created to provide fourth- through ninth-grade girls from all different backgrounds with the tools to find confidence, passion and purpose in their lives. With support and education in our interactive workshops, empowHER girls learn to embrace their strengths and differences, build their self-confidence and participate in service projects that demonstrate the importance of giving back to their community. This is a 1 day event. Overnight accommodations are not included. 8:45am - Doors Open & Registration Begins 9:30am - First Session Begins 2:00pm - Optional Parent Session* 2:40pm-3:15pm - Closing Activities & Dance Party 3:15-3:30pm - Parent/Guardian pick up *There will be an optional parent/guardian session 2:00-3:15pm. Please indicate during registration if you wish to attend. The parent session this year is titled, "Communication is Key - Strategies for being a partner in your child’s mental health". There will be NO REFUNDS, but please notify us if you need to cancel due to a schedule conflict. This will allow us to fill the open spot with a child on the wait list.
