This is the 21th Annual Waterman's Challenge. Come join us for a weekend of fun and surfing. There are some changes to this year's event. It is a single day event. Many of the divisions have changed and there is one new division. See below for the details. The venue is the Hilton, Cocoa Beach, 1550 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach. We have a block of rooms at an event room rate of $189 at the Hilton. Call 1-800-HILTONS and request the group rate using this code WMAN22. On-line registrations closes Wednesday, June 1 at 5:00pm. $25 for first division. Second or subsequent divisions are $5 for each division. Second and subsequent divisions are listed at the bottom of the registration page ***NO REFUNDS*** If there are slots left you can register in person Friday June 3, 5-7pm at the Hilton: $35 per division. NO BEACH REGISTRATION. Divisions (NOTE, no short board divisions): Men's Longboard: 18 and under, 19-39, 40-59, 60-69 and 70 and Up.Women's Longboard: 18 & under, 19-39, 40-59,60 & UpRodeoVintage Surf-N-Turf11 & Under MenehunesScholastic Team Surf OffRodeo: 30 minute heats; 1st 10 minutes = Shortboard, 2nd 10 min. = Longboard, 3rd 10 min. = twin fin fish. CONTESTANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOARDS. Vintage: Must have been manufactured before 1970, 9'0" or larger, single fin only. CONTESTANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOARD. NEW DIVISION!! SURF & TURF: Entrants must have a 9' or longer board. You catch a wave, come in and chip shot a golf ball into a ring (hula hoop). When you are successful at that, go catch another wave and repeat as many times as you can during the 20 minute heats. CONTESTANTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN BOARD. Trophies in all divisions for 1st through 4th. All entrants receive T-shirt. Museum members will receive $5 credit on their first division entered upon confirmation of membership status. Membership must be current as of May 31. This may take until June 8 to process. Thanks for your patience.
