NEW HAVEN, CT — Police have arrested a man in connection with a New Haven homicide. Jaison Jamell Flowers, 22, of New Haven, was charged with murder and criminal possession of a firearm. He was held on $1,000,000 bond. Police said Flowers was being charged with the fatal shooting of Howard, 40, on July 14. The crime occurred on Munson Street near Sherman Parkway. Flowers is currently in prison for violation of probation.
