Don't wait, register now to secure your special AAPI running shirt for the first 200 registrants! Free Moozy's gift card! Each participating kid 12-year-old or younger will receive a Moozy's gift card when picking up their bib numbers and T-shirts, thanks to a generous donation by Becca Pizzi and a matching donation by the Belmont Chinese American Association (BCAA). Volunteers needed! Please sign up to be a volunteer. You don't need to be a race expert to help. Community service hours available for students. Thank you! The T-shirt logo depicts a white stylized seven-petal Gardenia flower in the center of a round circle. Gardenia is an evergreen flowering plant native to much of Asia and Pacific Islands, acknowledging the diverse origins of AAPI communities. The seven petals and their circular arrangement represent inclusivity, completeness, unity and perfection. White evokes the universal color for purity. The logo was created by Sophie Wang, a 5th grader at Chenery Middle School in Belmont, MA. Sophie is advised by her art teacher Ms. Constance Lane of the Art Students' Exchange in Lexington, MA.
