This might be the most heartbreaking post I will ever have to make on Craigslist. Our lives have changed dramatically over the past year and we are looking to re home our sweet 4 year old pup maya. The good: She is an active dog looking for an active new person. She has excellent recall, can hike off leash, can trail run for miles. She is incredibly loyal to her person and people and loves to snuggle for hours, is food motivated and knows basic commands like sit, lay, shake. They say that she is a lab mix but has a lot of pit bull in her. She barks at appropriate times and is territorial of the home. She does not like the mailman. She loves chasing water from the hose The bad She is not good with children. If you have children under 16 in the home, please do not reply to this post. She is hit or miss at the dog park (occasionally picks fights with other dogs) but doesn’t pick fights on the trail. She is incredibly anxious around new people but once you are in her pack she is the most loyal loving pup. She is also a skilled counter surfer. This would be a free re-home situation however we will interview the person before handing her over to make sure that you are a right fit. Ideally we would love to give her to people who have land where she can run or a person who is active that will take her running or hiking. We will give you all of the supplies and food that we have for her. Please email me if interested and we can set up a meet and greet.
