Press release from the City of Iowa City: April 15, 2022 Due to road resurfacing within Oakland Cemetery, the main entrance will be closed to traffic and several roads will be blocked off beginning Monday, April 18 through Thursday, April 21. Limited access will be maintained through the Reno Street entrance during this work, but visitors are encouraged to avoid the area while work is being done. Due to safety concerns, pedestrians are also discouraged during the construction activity.
