I need to rehome my 1 year old female poodle. She’s not spayed but whoever adopts her can spay her after her heat cycle (within the next month). She’s incredibly sweet once she knows you but she needs a little bit of time to get to know you before she comes out of her shell. She’s not agressive at all but she is protective of her owners. Similarly, she is okay with other dogs but they will need to be introduced to her before the adoption. She’s fully potty trained and kennel trained. She does not whine or bark in a kennel. She’s playful and loves to play fetch or chase you around if you engage with her. She’s okay on a leash but needs more work because she gets excited to go outside. The reason for the rehoming is that I wanted to train her a service dog but unfortunately she does not like everyone and will sometimes bark at dogs that bark at her and will want to go after them so I have to find a different dog. Like I mentioned she’s a purebred standard poodle, beautiful cream and white color, 1 year old and not spayed. She will not go to just anyone and she is not cheap.
