Here are the top three stories in Grand Rapids today: Demonstrators took the streets for the sixth night in a row to protest the shooting of Patrick Lyoya by a Grand Rapids Police Department officer. Demonstrators at a Rosa Parks Circle protest wrote "defund the police" in chalk during a Sunday evening protest. Lyoya, 26, was shot and killed after a misdemeanor traffic stop violation. (WOODTV.com)The Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a Saturday armed robbery that left an individual injured. The incident occurred near Third Street and Fremont Avenue. The victim sustained a foot laceration while running from the armed robbery suspect. (FOX 17 West Michigan News)Broadway Grand Rapids has officially unveiled its schedule for the 2022-2023 season.
