FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Massachusetts Coastal Railroad Maintenance of Way will work on railroad improvements on Mechanic Street and Bird Street, and Mechanic Street will be impassable during the project. The Foxborough Department of Public Works said there will be a shutdown at Mechanic Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday. From Friday to Wednesday, Mechanic Street will be closed during all hours. Detour signs will be set up to direct traffic during the shutdown.
