If you have always wanted to play the cello or violin/fiddle and keep finding it hard to start, or if you are just looking for local private lessons, I hope I can be helpful in your musical journey! I have years of experience teaching all ages and skill levels and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Music & Ethnomusicology. My expertise is traditional styles of fiddling. Yes, the violin and the fiddle are the same instrument, just played differently! Some of the topics covered in lessons include: How to Practice Recognizing Patterns: Rhythm/ Melody Bowing Patterns & Technique Fiddle: Tune Form Fiddle: Learning by Ear How to Care for Your Instrument I have a violin for an affordable rent if you are just starting out and cannot afford to rent or buy a violin from a shop. At this time, I do not have a cello to offer these services with.
