We are currently looking for a Lead Operator. The main responsibility is to Lead the team, monitor seed line equipment during operations to ensure high quality seed processing and production. OR Text JOBS to 541-967-3600 Essential Job Functions: • Monitor seed processing equipment during operations. • Lead team to follow procedures and documentation, communicate clearly during shift change, avoid contamination and ensure product is tagged correctly. • Inspect and quality check product, verify accuracy. • Interpret specifications and calibrate machines to reach goals. • Simultaneously operate multiple pieces of equipment to produce product efficiently. • Operate systems such as Human Manufacturing Interface (HMI) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) • Train and lead temp labor crews in seed processing functions • Monitor indicators to assess progress production, and maintenance needs. • Drive forklift to move inventory, pallets and other equipment. Required Qualifications: • Demonstrated lead experience • Strong technical skills. • Valid driver’s license. • Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed. • Able to become forklift certified. • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in agriculture. • Proficient computer skills. • SCADA, HMI, and MES experience. • General working and mechanical knowledge. • Ability to train others on HMI interfaces.
