Opal is a very happy and healthy sweet girl. She was 60 lbs on her last vet visit 2 weeks ago. She is very smart girl and fast learner. She has been raised on our farm with goats, poultry, waterfowl and other dogs. Shes great with chicks and ducklings too. She loves car rides and sleeping in our bed. She has been around small children and is very gentle. She walks perfectly on a leash and is well behaved while in town. She is potty trained and knows her basic commands. She loves to please and minds very well. She is from our only litter to carry on her line that we've had in our family for several generations. Her Mom, Jade, has been spayed now. We used a fantastic retired stud for the breeding. Hes a working dog with all his testing. (OFA Hips and elbows, heart eyes, and checked for genetic predispositions.) Hes 12 years old and still very active and healthy. We are not in a hurry to rehome her. She just went through her first heat and has an appointment to be spayed. We are happy to have someone come meet her but we want to wait until she is fully recovered from her spay before she goes to her forever home.
