Full Job Description Compensation: $14 Per Hour Mosquito Control Technician- Hiring Immediately Here at The Mosquito Authority of Greater Madison, we are seeking motivated and reliable individuals with a passion for learning to fill our Mosquito Specialist role. If you are dependable and don't shy away from taking accountability then this is the place for you! A typical day will consist of driving your company vehicle to our selected customers' homes, completing an inspection to find breeding sites, treating those sites, and using a backpack blower to treat the foliage in the customers' yards. The position is full-time and seasonal through the end of mosquito season (typically, ending September). Requirements needed for consideration of employment: Dedicated work ethic Punctual and dependable Professional attitude, behavior, and attire (company-provided uniform) Strong customer service skills Team player mentality Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Physically healthy (ability to carry 60 lb equipment throughout the day) Displays integrity by always doing the right thing Main responsibilities of the role: Visually inspect customer yards and complete treatment for mosquitoes and ticks. Develop strong customer relationships. Handle pesticides in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements. Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized service vehicles. Walk throughout customer properties while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs for long periods of time in warm temperatures. Navigate daily routes using GPS. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
