Description

Before you accuse me of “treason”, maybe you should educate yourself on the definition of the term, as laid out by the US and Texas Constitutions: US Constitution: Article III, Section 3, Clause 1: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. Texas Constitution Article 1 Sec. 22. TREASON AGAINST STATE. Treason against the State shall consist only in levying war against it, or adhering to its enemies, giving them aid and comfort; and no person shall be convicted of treason except on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court. Note: if you accuse me of treason for advocating for a vote on Texas independence, and treason is a crime, then call 911… I’ll wait. That is a number you call to report a crime don’t you? Perhaps I am the one that should be calling a good attorney for being the victim of your “slander” and/or “libel”. For I bet that I could drag you to a civil court before you could drag me to a criminal one. Here are some more articles and/or videos where you can educate yourself before throwing out the “treason” accusation: https://texitnow.org/is-supporting-texit-treason/ https://tnm.me/news/commentary/criminal-or-constitutional/ (4/15/22)
