Description
"Gethsemane" is a Christian metal band I am putting together. The style is in the vein of Stryper/Bloodgood/Barren Cross and Whitecross with a little Petra thrown in for good measure. I am looking for a drummer;2nd guitarist( Im the 1st guitarist);bassist and vocalist. I dont want to try and emulate any other bands,rather I would like to be known for our own style and sound.The message I want to convey to the lost is simple; Accept Christ as you Lord and personal Saviour. That will also be conveyed thru our music as well as our walk with Him.
After trying many times to get into or form my own bands,God finally dealt with me by having me fired from a band i had finally gotten into. Once I was let go,I prayed and asked God what He wanted me to do. He very simply told me-"its right in front of you". He was speaking-of course-about His word.
