Kids love helping to clean up the beach! This event is fun for the whole family! Bring a blanket and a snack to enjoy after our hard work! Pennies For Penguins is teaming up with children's author and educator, Veronica Green, to host an Earth Day celebration on Deerfield Beach! What better way to honor planet Earth than cleaning it up? We will meet at 5pm under the covered pavillion, which is next door to JB's resteraunt (300 NE 21st Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441) Bags and gloves will be provided for the cleanup. Bring a blanket and a snack to enjoy on the beach after the cleanup ends. Veronica Green will lead a brief discussion with the children during snack time about ways we can all help to protect the planet. Signed books will be available for purchase!
