MARCH Presents “Taarafou” Written and Directed by Yehia Jaber. This event is sponsored by the IC-DC Alumni Chapter. IC-DC Alumni is pleased to invite you to the screening of "Taarafou" presented by MARCH. The play sheds light on what happens when 18 young men and women, who come from different backgrounds and areas in Beirut, meet to get to know one another and act on stage for the first time? This is an opportunity to get the community together and support local Lebanese NGOs in their effort to provide opportunities for the youth in Lebanon . MARCH is a Lebanese non-profit, non-governmental organization working to promote social cohesion and personal freedoms while advocating for equal rights through its work in peace-building and conflict resolution. Through their work, they aim to develop the resilience of marginalized youth and help them to build a better future while encouraging constructive dialogue and fostering cross-communal acceptance and respect to create sustainable reconciliation. Before the screening, we will be offering a light dinner. After the screening, there will be an opportunity for Q&A with Lea Baroudi, Cofounder, Board member ad General Coordinator of MARCH.
