Help us celebrate Earth Month by restoring a park in Darien Connecticut It's that time of year again! 🌱 Join One Tree Planted and Darien Pollinator Pathway in helping plant trees and remove invasive species. What to expect: Volunteers will start with the removal of the Winged Euonymus followed by some native planting of trees and shrubs in the cleared areas to avoid new invasive growth. What to bring: Long PantsClosed toe shoesReusable water bottleSun protectionGloves (If you have)Shovels (If you have)Snacks and water (sandwiches and small snacks will be provided)Photos submitted to One Tree Planted may be used for any and all purposes as deemed appropriate by the One Tree Planted Communications Team for the purposes of transparency, storytelling, and documentation, across any media properties including web, digital advertising, email, social media, or print. Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. The guardian will need to sign a waiver. One Tree Planted and its respective planting partners are taking all necessary precautions at our tree planting events. This includes reduced numbers of volunteers, social distancing, masks, and no sharing of planting equipment. While nature still needs your support, we ask that all volunteers comply with their respective state guidelines, have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or have any symptoms including cough, sore throat, fever, etc See you there! 🌳
