One-day conference devoted to anti-bias early education, responsive relationships, and creating optimal learning spaces through empathy. Location/Time: Curry College - Learning Commons 101 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton May 7, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Keynote: Victor Bradley Jr., Anti-Bias Education Expert What is anti-racist/bias education and why should we teach it to young children? What can we bring to the classroom to engage in this important work? To be effective, it is necessary to reflect upon how our own experiences influence our understanding of identity, diversity, justice, and activism. When we do so, it strengthens and supports our work with children and families. Victor Bradley will share how his own experiences have shaped his personal and professional growth as an early educator and his work with children and families.
