Join the LPLF for our "Alyce in Bayouland" celebration honoring those who have given lasting contributions and support to our libraries. The Lafayette Public Library Foundation is proud to honor three awardees for their generous support of Lafayette's library: Major Donor Award: Friends of the Lafayette Public Library Foundation Award: Carol Trosclair President's Award: Joan Wingate The theme of this year’s event is “Alyce in Bayouland” Join us for a dress-up cocktail party with the theme Alyce in Bayouland. KLFY's Dalfred Jones will emcée the event. Jillian Dickerson, President-Lafayette Better Business Bureau, will give a keynote address on the critical role that Libraries play in the social, cultural, and economic life of our community. Enjoy door prizes, raffles, and gift basket silent auctions. Food and drink: Hors d'oeuvres and light dining donated by local restaurants; cash bar with one complimentary signature drink, "The Queen of Hearts" per ticket. Attire: Cocktail dress, attendees are invited to dress in costume inspired by Alice In Wonderland.
