OCA-East Bay (www.ocaeastbay.org) is resuming our PickITup program in Oakland Chinatown which we've done monthly for almost six years. In the past six years we've cleared hundreds of pounds of trash and illegal dumping out of the Chinatown, have abated graffiti, and planted/watered new trees in the neighborhood. We are meeting up in Madison Park in March 2022, and the meetup spot might vary. Even if the Mask Mandates are lifted and we are outside, we strongly encourage and prefer people to wear PPE whenever possible. While that's not a guarantee, we will take precautions to try and limit risks, the main one utilizing strength in numbers.
