In search of a small or medium dog

Description

I hate that I'm even writing this, I recently unexpectedly lost my ESA. She was everything to me. I took her literally everywhere with me and she was a piece of me. My pets might be the most spoiled things in the world. She's always gotten plane tickets for trips with me and went on so many adventures, has a monogramed stocking and gets presents. She was a rescue dog that I worked with a lot over years to get to where we were. The dog that I had before her I had delivered at birth and had until she passed of cancer in my arms at 10. My dog becomes a piece of who I am. My best friend. We do everything together and go everywhere together and I have so many adventures planned this year. SO I'm really hoping to find my match in a small or medium sized dog, preferably female (or a neutered male) young enough for bonding and the potential for me to rename (maybe a year or less). I like rescues because we need each other and I'm willing to put in the time and patience, or younger dogs that I can raise to bond to me. I need a best friend and soulmate and they need love and attention and someone who loves them more than anything, and we give each other that. It tends to form really tight bonds. In our house, it's just myself, an older child, and a cat. I can't afford to pay a big rehoming fee and still get vet things set up, but I have everything a dog could possibly want. So spoiled that they have monogramed christmas stockings and the life most animals only dream of. My dog is my best friend in the entire world, and I've lost mine. I need a life mate. I need this dog as much as this dog needs me, and I'm looking for it. If you have a small dog that you think would benefit in this kind of owner, please reach out and we can talk. I'll send updates, pictures and videos about your pet if you want them. My heart hurts.
