Description
Sunnie, a smaller albino leopard gecko, needs a new home. I really regret having to let most of my reptiles go, but now have different financial circumstances and am struggling to make ends meet. I can’t tell the sex, but Sunnie’s tail tip is missing. It’s a good eater of mealworms & crickets, but on the reclusive side. It will accept tong-feeding from its favorite cork bark hide, or it will wait for dark to come out to hunt. It’s a little on the thin side, but has made a pretty remarkable recovery from the state it was in when I rescued it. I haven’t handled her much, because my first goal was to heal the tail without infection, & be as low-stress as possible to get a good feeding response to achieve a healthy weight. It doesn’t bite or try to run away, just freezes during handling. There is a small rehoming fee. It’s enclosure is a 10 gallon fish tank with a metal screen top that sits heavily on the rim. It has a heat pad & a Zoomed Reptisun fluorescent fixture, with an 8” blue LED strip light added for effect. The hides are a 3-layer corkbark cave & a 2nd pink cave with a plastic bottom for moist moss during sheds. I let my daughter pick the decor, & she wanted a coral reef glowing look, so I used a hot glue gun to attach a lot of plastic fish tank foliage & coral polyps. It wouldn’t be too hard to remove all that if you prefer a natural look. If you’re interested I can add the setup for a small additional amount.
