Join us at Piggyback by Pig & Khao for a special Asian American Pacific Islander Celebration hosted by Chef Leah Cohen! Join us on Thursday, May 12th from 7pm-11pm at Piggyback by Pig & Khao for a special Asian American Pacific Islander Celebration! The event will be hosted by Chef Leah Cohen, benefiting Heart of Dinner and in partnership with Bacardi and Curious Elixirs. Leah will be joined by celebrated chefs Helen Nguyen (Saigon Social), Esther Choi (Mok Bar), Dale Talde (Goosefeather), Jordan Andino (Flip Sigi), and Anton Dayrit and Bianca Vicente (Tradisyon)! Each Chef will serve a passed dish in honor of the celebration. Tickets for the party can be reserved now through Eventbrite for $90 with a portion from each ticket benefitting Heart of Dinner, an organization that works to combat food insecurity and isolation within NYC’s elderly Asian American community. We hope you’ll join us for music, drinks, dancing and delicious food! Heart of Dinner Founded at the onset of COVID-19, Heart of Dinner works to fight food insecurity and isolation experienced by Asian American seniors—two long-standing community issues heightened by the pandemic. ​The organization serves elders throughout NYC, delivering weekly care packages filled to the brim with culturally thoughtful hot lunches, fresh groceries, pantry essentials, and bulk ingredients while supporting local small businesses during their COVID-related recovery process.
