Let Us Celebrate You! Mothers and Grandmothers ~10th Annual No Murders In May Mothers Day Luncheon! You are invited to Black Men United's 10th Annual No Murders In May Mother's Day Luncheon. Mother’s Day was created in honor of a bereaved mother. It’s time to take this day back to its roots. We become mothers the very moment that we open our hearts to the idea of conceiving a child. While Mother’s Day is painful for bereaved moms, it is also an opportunity to celebrate all of the moms and their children. A woman’s love for her deceased child never dies, nor does her motherhood. For the 10th year, In honor of our mothers and our grandmothers, Black Men United and Assembly of the Saints Church , is challenging our city during the month of May, that there be No Murders in May. For all the mothers and grandmothers, fathers and family who have lost their children and loved ones to violence, we will be celebrating you and hosting our 10th annual ‘No Murders in May Mother’s Day Luncheon Saturday, May 7, 2022 12p to 1:30p Assembly of the Saints Church 4424 N. 24th Street.
