CCC Pickleball Social Fun'raiser! Come get your pickleball on and help raise money for Camp Camp Camp! Join us on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Pacific Beach to whack a ball for a good cause! $20 Ticket includes: - 2 hours of Play- 1:30pm check in. Always wanted to learn? A 30-minute lesson included for newbies. - Paddles and Balls are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own! - Come with a friend or come by yourself! All players rotate and play one another. - Non-refundable tickets- transfers welcome! - Must be 12+ to play. All proceeds from Pick Pick Pick Pickleball will go to increasing camp safety on the playa. - After Party @ TapRoom - 1269 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109 -- mention you are there with the Pickleball crew and 20% of your tab will be donated to Camp Camp Camp. Have friends and family meet us after the game! Some Deets: - Bathrooms on-site - Bring water - Prep for sunny courts without shade - Come dressed to play and in full self expression - costumes encouraged - Minimal seating ( a few benches) - only 40 tickets sold max, so get them while you can! - No dogs or alcohol (sorry, leave your pups and flasks at home, but don't worry, there's beer afterwards!) - Free Parking lot (carpooling encouraged) - 1:30pm check in, event starts at 1:45pm with greeting and review - Lesson starts 2:00pm sharp (open court/warm up) - 2:30pm -4:00pm games begin, 32 rotating players after each game - San Diego Pickleball leases space at the Pacific Beach Tennis Club located at 2639 Grand Ave, San Diego, CA 92109 *Directions: GPS sometimes takes folks to the wrong place. So find your way to Grand Ave and head east on Grand Ave with the Mission Bay High School on your right - take the first right just after the baseball fields into a big parking lot - the tennis club is straight ahead - you cannot see the club or courts from the road (miss this turn and you'll have to go around again). Pickleball is played on courts #7 & #8.
