We’re Sound Wire, a new band looking for a lead singer. Bonus points if you can play any keys or harmonica (not required though). We really need a vocalist to get off the ground. We’re a mature (over 50), fun-loving bunch who would love to play out eventually. We do this for fun and aren’t trying to get rich at it. We’ve all been around the block and have played a little of everything.
We like to play guitar-based hard rock, classic rock, blues and anything with a good groove. No easy-listening, rap, pop or death metal. Our set list hasn’t been nailed down yet and is open to suggestions and your range. We already have 2 guitars, bass & a drummer. We have a PA and rehearsal space in Elgin; we rehearse once a week.
