Truck Hits Utility Pole, Knocks Out Power To Falmouth Homes

FALMOUTH, MA — A pickup truck struck a utility pole Wednesday morning, closing Hayway Road between Currier Road and the 300 block of Hayway Road. The crash knocked out power to the area. As of 10:45 a.m., 81 Falmouth homes were without power. Police said Eversource will be replacing the utility pole. No injuries were reported.
