I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has any toys, books, or boys' clothes in sizes 8 9 for my 8-year-old and 5T for my 4-year-old. I'd like to be completely open and honest about how we got into trouble because of the pandemic, and it was difficult to find a new place to rent when my lease was up, and we also had too many issues in the summer with getting things like the cooler fixed, and it being over 90° inside place during the hottest parts of the summer. That is why I refused to renew my lease. It was extremely difficult to find a place in those days because everyone was being evicted and then when they were able to locate NEW available RENTALS get a new place multiple landlords and leasing offices for availabilities FOR RENT, it was either not available or they wouldn't be available for rent for a few months ahead. So it was a hit-or-miss situation, and I ended up having to relocate to a temporary family shelter. I had to leave everything behind because I couldn't take it with us and couldn't get my possessions into a storage unit in time. WE COULD ONLY TAKE OUR CLOTHES, HOUSEHOLD GOODS, BASICS, AND IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. So my boys don't have any extra toys, Hot Wheels, or books because we ran out of room on the way to the family shelter. Despite the fact that we are in the process of obtaining a secure location and things are starting to fall into place, my children have nothing and are bored out of their minds with nothing to do, nothing to read, and are outgrowing their clothes, so I was hoping that someone in the community might be able to help in any way they can. If there's anyone who might be able to assist; if there is, please contact me, and I appreciate any aid or information toward any resource areas where I might be able to acquire some support in the things I was asking for in this post.
