Volunteer in this KC urban food forest providing services to the people who live on the south end of Swope Park near Fox Hollow Creek. Every year around Earth Day we come together to clear out bush honeysuckle to find that "airy forest" feeling in our 4-acre food forest project near Swope Park. Love the Earth and remove brush the non-chemical way in this neighborhood food forest and trail park. Come on out! You'll find us working down the driveway that accesses the center of the forest park. It's on the south side of Gregory just east of Myrtle Ave. If you get to KC Pet Project, you're too far east, and if you get to the gas stations at Cleveland & Gregory you're too far west. Just right is about "3939 Gregory Blvd, KCMO 64133" on your GPS. Wear closed toe shoes with tread, jeans, and your favorite deep woods insect repellant.
