Learn about the ancient healing system of Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the oldest known healing system in the world. It is also Yoga's sister science.
Yoga teaches us how to balance our mind, while Ayurveda teaches us how to balance our body through things such as food, sleep and daily routine. Ayurveda's teachings around balance and tuning into nature are especially helpful for our modern day challenges including stress, anxiety, depression, isolation and other chronic health concerns.
In this workshop, we will explore the foundations of Ayurveda and its unique approach to daily living. Each student will learn their mind-body type and how to use this information to improve well-being. We will also have fun!
Handouts of class material will be provided. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is necessary.
