Second call for residents who are interested in being appointed to the following committees:
Bylaw Review Committee:
The Town Council shall, at five (5) year intervals, in each year ending in a two (2) or in a seven (7), appoint a special committee for the purpose of reviewing the Town by-laws and to make a report, with recommendations, to the Town Meeting, concerning any proposed revision, recodification, or amendment which said committee may determine to be necessary or desirable. Meetings will be held monthly typically at 7:00 p.m. until the By-Laws are reviewed and recommendations made at a future Town Meeting.
Recreation Commission:
The Recreation Commission has one opening due to a resignation. This appointment will be to fill the unexpired term which ends April 30th, 2024 and at that time the appointed individual will need to reapply if they wish to stay on the Commission. The Commission shall be responsible for the evaluation of program activities, formulation of overall plans for the program development, and for the scheduling of Town parks and fields. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
