LAWRENCE, MA — Several homes were damaged and dozens of people were displaced Saturday when a massive fire broke out at Lawrence home before spreading to several other nearby buildings, according to reports. The fire started around 9:30 p.m. Friday at a triple-decker home on Crosby Street, NBC Boston reported. Flames quickly spread to nearby homes, aided in part by strong winds and dry air, according to NBC. At least 16 families were affected by the fire, NBC reported. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
