Press release from the City of Albuquerque: April 9, 2020 Local hospitals are experiencing an outpouring of support from the community, especially restaurants, during the around-the-clock response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Food donations for health care workers are very much appreciated if they follow the safety guidelines below. UNM Hospital UNM Hospital only accepts food donations that come from local restaurants. They cannot accept homemade items. Food donations should be coordinated with Barbara Temer via email at [email protected]. Food deliveries to UNM Hospital have been successful when adhering to social distancing. Monetary donations can also be made to UNM Hospital Crisis Relief Fund, Main Campus Student Emergency Relief Fund, Health Sciences Student Emergency Relief Fund or our Lobo Food Pantry. Presbyterian Hospital At this time, Presbyterian Hospital is accepting individually packaged, restaurant-catered meals. They cannot accept buffet style or homemade food. Presbyterian requests that food donations be coordinated with Volunteer Services via email at [email protected] or at the following phone numbers to schedule a delivery at least 24 hours in advance.
