If you've been wanting to try gel plates but are not sure where to start, this is for you! Includes lunch! In each one hour class we will focus on one technique or type of product that you can use in painting, mixed media, art journaling, card making, scrapbooking...whatever! I'll provide all materials, including a box lunch from one of Lowe Mill's fine eateries. This month, our topic is the highly addictive practice (I am giving you fair warning) of gel plate printing. Lots of people have told me they have an unopened gel plate kit at home and feel a bit intimidated by it. I understand! If you have one, bring it, but don't worry if you don't. I have several for us to use. I'll show you how fun it is, and then you'll have time to make some prints to take with you. If you want to pick up a Gel Plate kit, The Art Cart has them, and you'll get a 10% discount if you tell them you are coming to this class. When you sign up, I'll send an email with the lunch choices.
