There were many single write-in votes for the Town Meeting Representative seats that were left vacant because no one pulled nomination papers in January. Unfortunately, single votes constitute a tie and therefore, a failure to elect. Because of this, we have a total of 12 vacancies to fill in order for all precincts to be fully represented at Town Meeting. These seats will be filled by a vote of the elected Town Meeting Representatives within the specific precinct. Please contact the Town Clerk's Office [email protected] to submit your name for consideration. We need your name, address, email and phone number.
The following vacancies need to be filled by April 25th.
