Actor Donnie Wahlberg made a server's day when he tipped more than $2,000 on a $35 lunch tab at a Cape Cod restaurant. Last Saturday, the Boston actor visited Marshland Restaurants and Bakery in Sandwich for a meal. Before leaving, Wahlberg gave a $2,020 tip, writing at the bottom of the receipt, "#2020tipchallenge." According to a press release from Steamship Authority spokesman Sean Driscoll on Thursday, the employee who tested positive was assigned to the Martha's Vineyard route, which runs eight round-trip routes each day between 6 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. The employee last worked on a shift that began at 12 p.m. on November 8 and ended 11:30 a.m. on November 9. FunGuys Events teamed up with Gillette Stadium to host the "Magic of Lights" drive-thru lights experience. The light show opened Friday and will be around all holiday season through Jan. 2.The Magic of Lights drive-thru experience features dazzling themed light displays using the latest LED technology and digital animations. Guests can experience this light show without even leaving their cars. The drive-thru is a mile-long and features a blizzard tunnel and lit up representations of the "12 Days of Christmas," "Winter Wonderland" and "The Night before Christmas." Falmouth Drive-In Presents Plan To Reduce Noise Complaints Management for the company putting on concerts at the Falmouth Drive-In presented a plan Monday to town officials to lessen noise after the select board received several complaints from nearby residents. Last month, Town Manager Julian Suso and members of the board said Vivid Event Productions was close to shutting down because complaints kept coming in, even after speaking with Kevin Pacheco, the company's general manager.Pacheco said he's received some complaints and used satellite technology to analyze how far the sound was traveling. He also canceled plans for a holiday drive-thru, outdoor skating rink and other festive activities following the complaints.
