Since opening Firehouse Subs Farmington in December 2016, Firehouse Subs Franchisee Darin Fitzgerald has gone above and beyond to earn an Axe Award in the West-Central Franchisee of the Year category by Firehouse of America. This award recognizes high performing franchisees throughout the Firehouse Subs system and honors Fitzgerald for his unwavering commitment to his community and for earning an almost perfect combined score in multiple restaurant assessments to end 2019 with Firehouse Subs Farmington ranked at no. 12 out of more than 1,175 restaurants in the entire system. “I am honored and humbled to be named the Firehouse Subs Franchisee of the Year in the West-Central Region,” said Fitzgerald. “I take great pride in giving back to the community where I own and operate my business. That’s why I am committed to supporting local events that the Farmington Police Department and other charitable organizations host year-round.” Throughout the year, the Farmington Police Department has classes for single moms that have experienced drug abuse. Fitzgerald and his team feed the moms and instructors every Wednesday. In honor of these meal donations, Firehouse Subs Farmington received an award for its community service from the Farmington Police Chief. Earlier this year, Fitzgerald provided more than 500 meals to local heroes and healthcare workers in partnership with the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation amid the pandemic.  Firehouse Subs Farmington is located at 3030 E.
