To commemorate the life and work of American botanist Humphry Marshall (1722-1801), the Chester County History Center is hosting a native tree giveaway, sponsored by Bartlett Tree Experts and the Humphry Marshall Trust. You will be prompted to choose one of the following saplings during the registration process.
Sweetbay Magnolia(Magnolia virginiana)Redbud (Cercis canadensis)Red Maple (Acer rubrum)Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum)White Oak (Quercus Alba)Willow Oak (Quercus phellos)Pick up your tree at the Chester County History Center on Humphry Marshall Day: April 30th 10AM - 1PM.
