i’m rehoming my 2 male gerbils jerry (black and white), and marley (tan and white). i just don’t feel like i’m a good gerbil mama anymore and they are reviving the bare minimum from me, and it’s not fair to them. so i’ve decided to rehome them to someone who can give them a good life. they aren’t currently bonded, but i’m working on it. they used to fight any time i put them in the same space, but now they don’t, i’m just not ready for them to live together yet. jerry is turning 3 in october (his birthday is october 16 2019), and marley is turning 1 in december (december 20, 2021). they’re both very sweet gerbils, they only ever bite if they’re very stressed or scared. i want them to go to a good home with someone who knows what they’re doing and won’t stick them in a critter trail or turn them into snake food. i have a 55 gallon tank with a stand that jerry lives in right now (i’m trying to get them bonded so they can both live in it). it doesn’t come with a lid, i’ve had to use a bunch of random objects to create a lid for them, so you’ll need to make a lid, because they will escape if you don’t (trust me it’s happened before). i can sell that with them for $90, but it’s optional i just don’t want someone to stick them in a critter trail or something. i also have a lot of extra things for them such as bedding, toys, hides, food and treats, etc. if you’re interested in any of that, contact me and we can work something out bc it’s too much to price every individual thing on here. also i know this is really extra but i really want them to go to a good home so i’ve made a care guide for gerbils that i can give to anyone who’s interested. both gerbils are $25, or $15 for one (since they aren’t fully bonded they can be rehomed separately) because i don’t want them to become snake food. contact me if interested.
