WCSD: High School Students Participate In Mock United Nations Conference

Press release from Waukee Community School District: April 11, 2022 It was a trip focused on current world events. 14 Northwest High School and Waukee High School students traveled to UNI for a Mock United Nations Conference. The students debated topics ranging from plastics in our seas and oceans, to the war in Ukraine. Students represented different countries from around the world in these debates. Students from our district represented Brazil (temporary member of the UN Security Council) and South Africa. Anika Yadav and Sarang Kothari were recognized with Best Delegate certificates.
