OCEAN CITY, NJ — Thirty-thousand participants will cross the starting line April 18 at the 2022 Boston Marathon. Three of them are Ocean City residents.
For the first time since 2019, the Boston Marathon will take place on Patriots' Day — a Massachusetts holiday commemorating the opening battles of the American Revolutionary War. The day begins with military marchers at 6 a.m., with several waves of athletes beginning the race in Hopkinton throughout the morning.
The following racers live in Ocean City, according to the Boston Athletic Association, which hosts the marathon:
