Press release from the Town of Zionsville: April 14, 2022 WHAT: Join Mayor Emily Styron, the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department, the Zionsville Park Board, Zionsville Town Council and other officials for a ribbon cutting of Overley-Worman Park. WHEN/WHERE: Friday, May 20 at 9 a.m. Meet at the new bridge located in Overley-Worman Park (6040 Godello Circle). Park in Vonterra near the paved trail by Zionsville Road (off Lemberger Boulevard) which provides access to Overley-Worman Park or at Nancy Burton and walk the southern Rail Trail into Overley-Worman Park. WHY: Let's cut the ribbon at Overley-Worman Park! Overley-Worman Park is a full-featured park nestled on the banks of Eagle Creek and connected to the Big-4 Rail Trail. The park includes approximately 47 acres of woodland, hills covered with brush and trees, a pond and is partially bisected by Crazy Creek which drains to Eagle Creek. The park complements the existing parks system by providing options for high-demand activities like playgrounds and pathways while also adding new amenities like mountain bike trails and a disc golf course.
