We are a four piece band called Righteous Medicine we are a cover/original band we have female lead vocalist, bassist vocals drummer vocals and guitarist keyboards vocals.We are looking for a lead guitarist who sings male or female age 45-65. We all sing lead and BGVs we rehearse 2x a week in couple of locations it depends on what we are doing writing recording or general rehearsals. Covers we have a list of over 90 songs we rehearse each Sunday 11-3 and Thursday night 7-9. We have a recording studio in Bear Valley we will use when recording songs.Thursday nights we have a vocal and writing rehearsal in Thornton and on Sunday in Broomfield we rehearse cover songs. We play covers and originals equally and play a wide variety of music rock, rhythm and blues, country rock, pop rock, hard rock and classic dance songs. We use backing tracks on some songs with horns and other instruments but primarily play without tracks. We are are a new band but have more than motivation to work in bars, weddings, corporate, festivals and private parties currently seeking agencies to work with and booking ourselves. You should have an interest in playing entertaining popular cover songs from the 60s to current and a desire to write songs and release them in an album form and performing at least 2x a month if not more. Your guitar skills in lead and rhythm are expected to be great technically and musically and played to the original version as close as possible with embellishments with the songs we play. Your singing skills should be able to sing lead vocals and BGVs harmonies real well. If you play keys or other instruments your skills on them should be above average. We all have a good knowledge of song theory and expect your able to learn songs quickly and accurate. We need a person who can improvise freely on originals but can play with passion on covers. You’ll be working with another guitar player that would be me and on a personal note I’m looking for a complete guitarist to compliment the song and styles we will cover from dual leads to two distinct guitar parts. We play electric and acoustic guitars I also play keys so you’ll have to play leads on those songs for sure but in general we will share the lead guitar parts we tune standard, flat, drop D and play all songs in the key it’s written in.
